The Ultra-Broadband Forum (UBBF) is jointly organized by the UN Broadband Commission and Huawei, to create a platform for communications between carriers, content providers, consumer electronics vendors, Internet service providers, and regulatory agencies worldwide. Through discussion of the future developments of ultra-broadband, the Forum promotes the commercial success of all industry members and the sound, sustainable development of the industry ecosystem.

Born in 1950. Mr. Zhao worked in Design Institute of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications from 1975 to 1986. From 2007 to 2014, he served as ITU's Deputy Secretary-General, where he effectively assisted the ITU Secretary-General, in close cooperation with the other elected officials of the Union, to manage the implementation of the ITU Strategic Plan and the operations of the ITU Secretariat. He was elected ITU Secretary-General in October 2014 and took up his post on 1 January, 2015.

Born in 1967, Mr. Xu holds a doctorate degree from Nanjing University of Science & Technology. Mr. Xu joined Huawei in 1993 and has served as President of the Wireless Network Product Line, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer, Chief Products & Solutions Officer, and Chairman of the Investment Review Board. Currently, Mr. Xu serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board, Rotating CEO, and Chairman of the Strategy & Development Committee.

Mr. Ding serves as the President of Products & Solutions of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd and is one of the Executive Directors of the Board. In his role as President of Products & Solutions, Mr. Ding’s responsibility is to provide ICT convergent solutions to service providers as well as enterprise and industry customers. In addition to product planning, development, and delivery, he is also responsible for building product competitiveness to support business success.
Since joining Huawei in 1996, Mr. Ding has held several senior positions, including CEO of Carrier Network Business Group, President of the Global Marketing Department, President of the Global Solution Sales Department, and President of Fixed Network Product Line, Core Network Product Line and Network Product Line.
Mr. Ding holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southeast University in China.

David Wang is President of Network Solutions at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., a position he has held since July of 2016. In this role, he is responsible for the end-to-end strategy in R&D, Marketing and business and operations management of the Huawei network product portfolio, including access network, optical transmission network, carrier IP and enterprise network.
Since joining Huawei in 1997, David has held various positions in the company, and accumulated rich experience in the network domain, including R&D, marketing and strategy and business operation. Prior to assuming his current position, David was President of Wireless Network Solution, Managing Director of Huawei Italy and Switzerland, Vice President on Technical Sales of European Region, Vice President of UMTS Technical Sales Department, and R&D manager in Wireless.
