Impacting more than 1.5 billion students in over 190 countries, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted education to an extent the world had never seen before. The sudden shift to online learning was accompanied by great uncertainty and changes to the education sector, changes that are likely to be long-term and reshape education forever. The pandemic also demonstrated that current education systems, no matter how mature, are not resilient to crises. Many have predicted the development of new business models, more investment in online learning, and the greater adoption of technology. We can also expect to see an increase in blended teaching methodologies, new creative ways to engage students, and the application of innovative assessment methods.
Aligned with UN SDG 4 and the UN Transforming Education Summit 2022, Huawei will hold the TECH4ALL Global Education Online Summit to explore how technology will underpin a new era of inclusive, innovative, effective, and resilient education systems.

Everyone has the right to a high-quality education, including the digital skills required in today's world. However, education inequity remains a huge global problem that affects individuals, communities, and socioeconomic development.
We believe that technology can help bring learning resources to where they are needed most, so that everyone has the skills they need to unlock their potential. To achieve this, we pledge to work with our partners to connect more schools, provide training in digital skills, and cultivate ICT talent for the future.
Huawei's Tech4Education is working towards a world where knowledge knows no boundaries through technology.
