Statement Re: Huawei's Lawsuit Against T-Mobile in the US

[Shenzhen, China, July 5, 2016] The purpose of suing T-Mobile USA is to get fair compensation for Huawei's investment in research and development through patent licensing and enforcement. As one of the world's leading intellectual property (IP) owners, Huawei respects the IP of others, and meanwhile will take the steps needed to protect our own IP assets.

This patent infringement lawsuit is unrelated to the trade secret lawsuit filed by T-Mobile USA. Huawei Device USA has been cooperating in the court process and looks forward to resolving that dispute through the regular court proceedings.
