Huawei Releases ICT Digital Intelligence Service and Software Solution

[Barcelona, Spain, February 28, 2023] Today, during the 2023 MWC Barcelona, Huawei releases a new ICT Digital Intelligence Service and Software Solution.

First, Energy and Experience (Dual-E) have become the basic requirements. “Dual-E ICT Infrastructure Integration” service covers site integration, network integration and data center integration. In the past year, this has delivered more than 500k sites, saved 400M kWh of electricity, reduced carbon by 140k tons, equivalent to planting 7.5 million trees. Bruce introduced some examples in site modernization: to reduce carbon we can convert power supplies to solar and lithium batteries and turn indoor sites into outdoor to remove the need for Air Conditioning. And by simplifying site design with highly integrated components we can also reduce rented space. This can reduce power consumption by 20-45% and Opex by 40%

Digital Intelligent O&M solution introduces technologies such as digital twin, machining learning, and low code development into operator’s O&M process to achieve 3 “Zeroes” vision: Zero interruption, Zero Touch, Zero code operation. Based on our knowledge and experience from helping implement over 160 large networks, and handling over 300 thousand problem cases we have created expert rules and AI models to improve and automate network operation and maintenance, including fault prediction, automatic diagnosis and intelligent O&M assistance. Overall, AUTIN platform drives both process re-engineering and talent transformation to accelerate intelligent O&M transformation so that network reliability, resilience and operation efficiency is continuously improved.

Ultimate experience is a key differentiator for many operators, especially in 5G and home broadband:

• Innovations in network simulation, planning, and optimization deliver very high-performance networks. In 2022, all 15 of our target networks ranked No.1 in Umlaut benchmarking. Huawei can also deliver top performance in specific apps, such as YouTube and Facebook by improving throughput and latency. Meanwhile, by addressing network operation holistically, we have achieved additional 8% power saving without impacting experience.
• Plus, SmartCare and ADO solutions can help deliver business growth. Through multi-dimensional data analytics we can increase 5G user penetration and DOU, drive increased APRU and reduce Churn. This has been proven in many markets, including Turkey and China.
