Dr. Gilliard Loth is executive director of Tanzania’s Power and Network Backup Limited. Founded in 2005, this supplier of telecommunications equipment and services started partnering with Huawei in 2013. Since then, Loth says, his firm’s technical capabilities have expanded markedly. And since 2020, it is operating in South Africa as well.
