Seeds for the Future in Poland has kicked off in 2014 in cooperation with 5 Universities. The initiative is being organized under the SPRUC Association “Broad consensus for digital skills” which is one of the affiliate of Ministry of Digitization. 

Last year the program covered 12 TOP Polish Universities and obtained the patronage of Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as Ministry of Digitization. 

On 8th July, the official awarding ceremony took place. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jaroslaw Gowin, Secretary of State of Ministry of Digitization Witold Kolodziejski, Chinese Ambassador Xu Jian, Senator Grzegorz Napieralski, Leader of Digitization Wlodzimierz Marcinski attended the ceremony. 

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jaroslaw Gowin said: I would like to thank Huawei for investing in the R&D area and for investing in the best minds, the ideas, the creativity of young Polish IT specialist, and at the same time, I want to congratulate all the winners. I believe you will be the ambassadors of the economic and science cooperation between Poland and China. 

The program aims on promoting a greater understanding of the telecommunications sector and encourage participation in the international ICT community. Till today we have trained nearly 45 Polish students.
