Ghana

Seeds for the Future was launched in Ghana in June 2015 by the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. During the launch the then Vice President praised Huawei for such an initiative and urged the young graduates who will get to participate to use the opportunity to learn and come back to Ghana very resourceful. Present at the Launch was also the H.E Madam Sun Baohong, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana and Mr. Felix Kwakye-Ofosu, who was then the Deputy Minister of Communications for the Republic.

25 students from Ghanaian Universities have so far benefitted from the initiative, with 15 and 10 Students benefiting from the programme in July, 2015 and May, 2016 respectively.
