A mega solar farm that runs smooth in the snow at Daqing, one of the coldest places in China

It's a common belief that solar farms are economically viable when located in hot, dry, and sunny climates. Huawei gear helps a mega solar farm to provide clean power to hundreds of thousands of families in Daqing, in China's northeast province of Heilongjiang. There, it's snowy in winter, and temperatures can plunge to minus 34.  And yet, in the depth of Daqing's cold winter, solar power is a viable green energy source, just as it is in warmer climes.
