Singapore: Promoting senior wellness with AI games

The Huawei Tech4City Competition inspires local youth to harness AI to address social challenges. Four editions of the competition have been held, attracting over 1,000 students to participate.

In 2024, Team Golden Gamers from the National University of Singapore claimed the championship with their project, PrimePlay. In support of Singapore's "Active Aging" community strategy, the project team developed a series of AI-driven games tailored to the fitness needs of senior citizens, offering a personalized, arcade-style health promotion solution.

In 2025, Huawei partnered with the winning team to pilot PrimePlay at Active Aging Centers across multiple communities in Singapore. Through competitions and incubation support, we will continue empowering young innovators to bring their ideas to life, contributing to more inclusive, healthier, and smarter lives for senior citizens.
