Angola: Extending communications coverage to rural and remote areas

Huawei and the Angolan government launched the "Lighting up Angola" project to promote local digital economy diversification. This project aims to bring network connectivity and reliable electricity to the village of Sande in Catabola, Bié Province. To date, the project has benefited more than 5,000 local villagers, giving them a stable power supply, connecting them to the wider world, and unlocking the practical benefits of digital technology.
