MetaAAU in the Philippines

In September 2022, the Philippines became the first country after China where Huawei deployed MetaAAUs, the 3rd generation of 5G active antenna units. Compared with previous or competing antennas, MetaAAUs offer more coverage range, more bandwidth, and are far more energy-efficient.

Using VR in hybrid classroom in Thailand

AR makes complex tasks simpler

Before shipment to customer, a technician at the Huawei European Supply Center in Páty, Hungary, configures a delicate piece of equipment. Specifically, he’s readying an OptiX OSN-9800 cabinet, an optical cross-connect used on network backbones. AR enables him to implement the exact standards specified by HQ. One of the most advanced in Europe, the Páty logistics center is fully covered by 5G networks that enable the operation of Automated Guided Vehicles and high-bandwidth applications like AR.
