Huawei Aims High with the European Launch of Intelligent OptiX Network and Three OptiXs, Building Ubiquitous Optical Connectivity

[Paris, France, November 5, 2019] Huawei hosted Huawei eco-Connect Europe (HCE) 2019 on November 5th in Paris, France. This annual flagship event saw futurists, scientists, designers, media leaders, and scholars gather to discuss opportunities for promoting innovation and digital transformation throughout Europe.

Debuting at this event was Huawei's Intelligent OptiX Network strategy, specifically oriented to the European enterprise market. Innovative OptiXtrans, OptiXaccess, and OptiXstar series products (the "three OptiXs" for short) were launched to focus on three scenarios: all-optical data centers, all-optical transmission, and all-optical campus.

"Europe has always boasted innovative capabilities, with a renowned level of scientific research and a worldwide reputation for trend-setting," said Kim Jin, President of Huawei Enterprise Transmission & Access Product Line. "Thanks to industrial digital transformation, more and more industries are turning to optical connections during production and operation. Optical fiber features high bandwidth, low power consumption, and reliable transmission, which can greatly reduce costs, improve operation efficiency, and enhance network experience. Huawei is launching the Intelligent OptiX Network strategy and the three OptiXs in the European enterprise market for the first time. Our aim is to deliver ubiquitous optical connectivity, and help to create a digital Europe, and focus on global innovation and open cooperation."
