Huawei Australia All Set for AusRAIL 2019 Conference
[Sydney, Australia, December 3rd 2019]: Huawei Australia will showcase its advanced railway ICT solutions including its Future Railway Mobile Communication Systems (FRMCS), next generation IoT-ready Wi-Fi 6, advanced microwave backhaul and 1Gbps train-to-ground wireless solution for data-transfer at the AusRAIL conference which opens in Sydney today.
Attracting some 4,000 delegates and 450 exhibitors to the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour AusRAIL is the largest rail event in Australasia.

Indeed, with on-board connectivity now more important than ever for the travelling public, Huawei will offer a live demonstration of its ground-breaking Wi-Fi 6 technology – capable of delivering total throughput of nearly 10Gbps - at the exhibition.
Huawei Australia Chief Technology and Cyber Security Officer David Soldani will be delivering a Keynote presentation on cybersecurity considerations in railways in the technical stream of the conference on Wednesday.
In addition, Norman Frisch, FIRSE, Global Marketing Director, Enterprise Business Group and Transport Sector, and Chairman of the eLTE Industry Alliance, is also traveling from the UK to speak on the future of railway communications.
Huawei will be joined at our booth by some of our technology partners DXC Connect, a leading systems integrator in Australia, and Ervocom, a global provider of onboard solutions, as we seek to build on our existing position in the market as a leading supplier for advanced on-board voice and data communications.
Huawei is an existing supplier to the Australian railway industry with GSM-R, LTE and IP networking deployments in mainline railways and mass transit metro systems.
