
With the proliferation of MBB and Ultra BB in the current telecom market, operators face a dual challenge when it comes to preparing for this promising future: how to successfully transform services, networks, and business models, and how to increase revenue through innovation.
To address these challenges, Huawei, in association with GSMA, The TM Forum and Telco2.0, held Innovation • Transformation Summit 2010 in Shenzhen, China, on October 11-12, 2010. Attended by the world's leading operators, SPs, and CPs, the Summit discussed these issues from the perspectives of individual, family, and enterprise user markets.

For enterprise users, leading operators are exploring new potential markets in the form of SMEs and SOHOs. However, in this communication era with its increasingly fast convergence, service innovation and user group segmentation are not enough to sustain business growth. All attendees agreed that it was also crucial to explore new business models, automate operations with standard processes, adopt a consistent enterprise information model, and define flexible and reusable SOA business services.
