Huawei’s Commitment to Cable MSO Market Attracts Ron Pitcock and Frank Miller
[ATLANTA – November 15, 2011] – Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced that its commitment to the cable MSO (Multi Service Operator) market has attracted two of the industry’s top veterans, Ron Pitcock and Frank Miller, to join its U.S. offices.
Ron Pitcock recently joined Huawei as the Vice President and General Manager of its MSO business organization. Ron has more than 20 years of experience within the cable business, and is regarded within the cable industry as a visionary business leader that has consistently demonstrated success in defining real-time business strategy and translating it into high-impact operations and financial outcome. Prior to joining Huawei, Ron was the founder and president of NASDAQ listed High Speed Access Corporation and an investor as well as board member in various start up industry companies.
Frank Miller recently joined Huawei as its Chief Technology Officer – MSO. In this role, Frank provides leadership towards bringing innovative products to the cable market across all sectors of the cable industry. Recently recognized by CableFax Magazine as this year’s "Independent Technology Executive of the Year,” Frank is a recognized technology leader in the cable industry and is a regular presenter of technology futures at national forums. Prior to joining Huawei, Frank was the Chief Technology Officer for BendBroadband.
