London, U.K., 21 June 2017: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today hosts its sixth annual UK Enterprise Partner Conference, setting out its product, channel and partner strategy.

In 2016, Huawei's Enterprise Business Group (‘BG’), working in close collaboration with its partners globally, delivered ICT infrastructure to support the digital transformation of key vertical industries, including finance, energy, government bodies, and public safety. This business generated US$5.9 billion in annual revenue globally, an increase of 47% on 2015. Today’s event was hosted at 8 Northumberland Avenue, in central London.

OceanStor Dorado V3 now on sale in the UK
Huawei Enterprise BG announced today that the new OceanStor Dorado V3 All Flash Storage solution is now available in the UK. As a member of the new-gen all-flash OceanStor Dorado V3 family, OceanStor V3 incorporates Huawei's proprietary FlashLink technology. The OceanStor Dorado V3 meets the storage requirements of databases, virtual desktops, and virtual servers, smoothing the way for customers in the all flash era. The proprietary FlashLink technology ensures 4 million IOPS (input/output operations per second) at 500 μs consistent latency. The HyperMetro gateway-free active-active design delivers 99.9999% availability with 1 ms latency.

Cloud computing, online payments, mobile social networking and other real-time interactive applications requiring immediacy are causing huge surges in data usage. This greatly escalates the performance requirements on storage equipment in the data center. Flash is an important element in accelerating key business applications and helping enterprises handle the explosive data growth.

Diana Yuan, President of Marketing and Solution Sales Department of Huawei Enterprise BG, said: “I am very pleased to be in London to meet with the partners and customers of our enterprise business in the UK. The Huawei strategy for the industry ecosystem, means we provide market leading open, agile and safe ICT platforms, based on cutting-edge technology. We look forward to continuing to work closely with our partners to develop innovative industry solutions, and through these joint efforts with our partners, we will support our customers to achieve digital transformation successfully in the UK.”

Gordon Luo, Chief Executive, Huawei UK & Ireland said: “I would like to welcome our partners and customers to our sixth Enterprise partner event and thank them for their confidence and support over the last year. Our enterprise business has made great progress over the last year, but we couldn’t have done that without the support of our key partners. We look forward working together over the next twelve months to help drive industry digital transformation through advanced ICT infrastructure and ensuring we grow our businesses together.”
