Huawei's enhanced coverage solution improves network performance
Aiming at the intense traffic in the capital Abuja and other densely populated cities, Huawei's EnerG GSM solution enhances the network coverage, supports the dual-band BTS of 900 / 1800 MHz co-site deployment and half rate technologies to increase system capacity.
Huawei's superior coverage enhancement solution increases the radius of coverage by 20% per 3dB gain on uplink and downlink, reduces the number of sites by approximately 30%, which helps MTN save 30% investment regarding station sites and network operation and maintenance.
Huawei's EnerG GSM solution adopts various enhanced voice algorithm and background noise restrain technologies, which can promote customer's experience and improve the utilization ratio of radio frequency spectrum resources.
Huawei's layered service allocation mechanism ensures channel assignment based on predefined priority. According to that, the network capacity can be increased by more than 80%, effectively guaranteeing end-users' satisfaction.
Better network performance to keep the leading position
Huawei's EnerG GSM solution solved crucial problems which troubled MTN for a long time, and network performance, such as voice quality, the access rate of users, and network traffic were improved. The improvement in the entire network performance realized excellent coverage in high-density urban areas, and will help operators to meet more challenges in future.
In Abuja, the network performance ranked first for over 30 consecutive weeks after the introduction of Huawei's EnerG GSM solution. Both subscribers and network traffic increased quickly.
