Skylink is the largest CDMA operator in Russia and the sole operator granted with CDMA license for nationwide operation. It accounts for above 80% market share of CDMA 450MHz in Russia. Huawei started its cooperation with Skylink since 2002, and provides Skylink with CDMA 450MHz end-to-end solution including infrastructures and abundant terminals.
As a result of its outstanding performance in the stages of the construction of Skylink's CDMA network, in 2006 April, Huawei began to deploy CDMA network in 14 others cities and expanded its existing network within five other cities in Russia.
