Huawei ISE (Information Service Environment) is built base on Huawei IPCC. As an important part of Huawei IPCC solution, the ISE provides the following functions:
- Supporting the access of broadband and narrowband services
- Supporting automatic service processing and interaction of multiple media types, including voice, fax, email, and SMS
- Providing rich media resources by integrating the leading TTS and ASR technologies in the industry
The following figure shows the structure of Huawei ISE.

The CTI platform carries out unified adaptation and routing control on the calls. The CTI platform assigns the calls to the IVR servers and triggers related service instances based on the configuration and load of each IVR server. The IVR server explains and executes the IVR business processes and controls call connection and media resources at the access platform. Thus, call execution is separated from call control.
Service and application servers are listed as follows:
- Management and maintenance servers for service operation
- VXML servers
- Interface servers
- Middlewares used to access the database
