The system, which varies with network type, service type and payment mode (prepaid/postpaid) from infrastructure network layer, service processing layer, billing layer to customer service layer, brings additional operation and human resource cost and unable to support the future service development.

It provides all end-to-end functions of network operation support, covering real-time service control, real-time billing access, real-time rating and billing, CDR collection, service provision, customer order management, product management, pricing, customer service, settlement, and partner management. CBS supports voice, data, video and event billing of PSTN, NGN, 2G/2.5G/3G, IMS, and WiMAX networks.

CBS has a flexible rating & billing engine for convergence of voice, data, video and event, convergence of prepaid and postpaid, convergence of fixed, mobile and IMS network. Besides, the professional core technologies, such as automatic recovery, two-node cluster and memory database, ensure that the CBS have the proven performance and high reliability. With abundant tariff schedule templates, CBS makes the tariff plan configurable. Based on the modularized, open, layered and future-proof architecture, CBS enables smooth evolution, and supports the unified customer care platform, complying with 3GPP and TMF standards.

By July 2007, the CBS has been applied by Holland KPN/ Telfort, China Mobile, China Telecom, and Indonesia M8.
