Best solution to achieve seamless indoor coverage

The advent of HSPA allows more and more subscribers to enjoy extensive and consistent multimedia and data services anytime and anywhere. The indoor coverage system plays a pivotal role in the development of a HSPA network.
Huawei has launched its digital indoor distributed Node B system, iDBS. The iDBS solution comprises a series of Huawei indoor Node B products, including the BBU3806, RHUB3808 and Pico RRU3801, as shown in Figure 1.

Using the iDBS solution, operators can easily achieve best coverage inside buildings by flexibly combining the elements of the solution to adapt various conditions. One cell can be configured with one Pico RRU or several Pico RRUs. This enables flexible adjustment in capacity and coverage area.
The Pico RRU is suitable for various application scenarios. As Figure 2 shows, the networking is simple and no Macro Node B is required.
