In order to meet customers' requirements and maintain the lead in the competitive market, operators should provide ubiquitous networks and services in an ICT society.

As shown in the figure above, the new service model will provide users with a unified experience and possess the ability to be replicated in various scenarios such as at home, while on the move, at a hotspot, or in the office. As such, the vision of the new service model is to provide a ubiquitous system for all users, and should be available anytime, anywhere, and via any terminal. However, this would require infrastructure that can support the provisioning of seamless access and seamless service.
