Simplified, converged, innovated subscriber knowledge center
The All IP based FMC network offers subscribers more convenient and satisfactory service experience. Huawei is dedicating to constructing this new world, where the connection between subscribers is much closer. But the current situation is that the subscriber service and attribute data are dispersed in different functional entities that are operating under their own data management mode. Thus, information gaps are formed and counteracting with the evolution to the ALL IP based FMC network. That information can not be sufficiently applied. Thus, carriers are baffled to pursue the service innovation and to provide unified service experience for their subscribers.

Huawei Unified Subscriber Center (USC) solution assists both fixed and mobile service carriers to construct a converged subscriber center, which lays a foundation for the conversion from the traditional network to the ALL IP based FMC network. The solution not only inherits the functions of the HLR, HSS, AAA, SHLR, MNP, EIR, and GUP, but also manages the subscriber data in the centralized mode and provides open data interfaces. With the USC solution, carriers benefit in ways of
Simplifying the network efficiently;
Constructing the converged subscriber knowledge center rapidly;
Shortening the service development cycle;
Promoting the capacity of providing converged services.
USC solution uses Huawei-developed Open Standard Telecom Architecture (OSTA2.0) platform which is compatible with the Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ATCA). Thus, Huawei USC is provided with high capacity and processing ability. The USC solution provides the following advantages:
The subscriber services and data information is distributed to multiple processors to realize seamless capacity expansions.
The system capacity is not restricted. Services can be offered for over 100 million mobile and fixed subscribers.
