Service Control Gateway
Huawei SCG aims to provide precise service control, QoS management, and real-time charging for the use of all kinds of data services via wireless data channels. It is a product derived from another Huawei product named Wireless Integrated Service Gateway (WISG), and more powerful in the precision of control and flexibility of charging. With its unique Deep Package Inspection (DPI) technology, Huawei SCG not only helps carriers implement all kinds of service control such as access control, bandwidth control, security control, traffic redirection, and real-time network monitoring, but also provides flexible charging capabilities based on the bearer level, content level, service level, and even the protocol level.
Wireless Integrated Service Gateway
Huawei WISG is a kind of enhanced WAP gateway. It performs the bearing access, service control and billing information collection of 2G, 2.5G and 3G mobile network data services. It can support WAP services, streaming media services, and IP data services.
