Welcome Message System (WMS)

WMS is a relatively independent application system based on signaling collection and MAP signaling analysis. The system provides value-added services which can bring more profits for the carriers.
The WMS monitors the location management service to obtain the roaming date of a subscriber, such as the home location register (HLR), visitor location register (VLR), International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), and Mobile Station Integrated Service Digital Network (MSISDN).
Judged by the distinguished mechanism, the system sends welcome short messages, blessing short messages and so on to the SMC (Short Message Center) or ISMG (Internet Short Message Gate).
The WMS can configure contents flexibly to provide customer-care SMS or other types of value-added services. It can increase subscriber satisfaction and brings new business opportunities for carriers, such as the text message advertisement service, group service, and information service.
