Starting from June 2nd, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd participated in the second annual WiMAX Forum Global Conference as a platinum sponsor. The conference was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Vice president of Huawei CDMA & WiMAX product line, Mr. Tangxinhong made the keynote speech explaining 'A Market Success Oriented Approach to WiMAX'. He introduced Huawei WiMAX strategy and achievements in the global market. During the conference, Huawei demonstrated it's newly launched world first commercially ready 4T4R WiMAX distributed base station and Huawei WiMAX deployments in the world. Huawei actively promotes WiMAX industry development and has acquired 44 WiMAX commercial contracts and 37 trial contracts till Jun 2009.
