An exploit could allow the attacker to cause a denial of service or remote code execution.

The vulnerability classification has been performed by using the CVSSv2 scoring system (http://www.first.org/cvss/).

Base Score: 5.1 (AV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P)

Temporal Score: 4.2 (E:F/RL:O/RC:C)

1. Prerequisite:

The debug switch on the target device is enabled and the attacker gains access to the device network;

2. Attacking procedure:

An attacker crafts malformed DNS packets and sends them to the target device. An exploit could allow the attacker to cause a denial of service or remote code execution.
