Huawei UMTS Home Node B, also called Home AP, is a network element of uBro, which is Huawei's total solution for home coverage.
Another main element in uBro is Application Gateway (AG), which has open standard interfaces such as Iu-PS and Iu-CS to enable Home AP to connect with UMTS PS/CS core network, even with other vendor's MSC or GGSN.
Home AP has standard air interfaces to support R99/HSPA capable UE, and a private interface (eIu) to connect to AG. Huawei's Home AP is designed based on thorough research on home user's requirements for services, capacity, transmission and OA&M. It offers high performance with small volume, light weight and easy operation & maintenance, bringing benefits to both operator and subscribers.
