Usually, they are installed on the central office or the ODF in the equipment room of the residential community.

It is used in the outdoor optical splitting scenarios. Not only can it be installed in the air, but also can be installed in the man hole or hand hole.

If you need to use the indoor splitting unit but no equipment room is available, you can install the unit in the corridor or indoors. Huawei’s indoor splitting unit is inbuilt with PLC optical splitting module to guarantee the optical fibers can be evenly split.
