With the development of the multi-play, FTTx has been recognized as the trend of the access domain. Accordingly, how to effectively manage the massive number of hybrid fibers and coppers, and how to fulfill the invested DSL potential have become hot topics.
Huawei launched the iManager N2510 Line Assurance System (N2510) to solve the new problems of line maintenance challenged by the xPON+DSL mode. The N2510 provides functions such as line evaluation, line diagnosis, line analysis, and line optimization to help carriers quickly and effectively locate faults on the lines, and thus implements active network maintenance. Meanwhile, the N2510 offers solutions to improve the DSL bandwidth，performance，as well as saving power consumption.
In this way, the N2510 can enhance the access network performance, ensure the quality of experience (QoE) of end-users, save network OPEX, and help carriers achieve the goal of "more profits and less costs".
