Subject: End of Service and Support for V100R001&V200R001&V200R002&V200R003 Software on the Huawei S8016 Switch 

To whom it may concern, 

Huawei officially advices you that Huawei will end the service and support for V100R001/V200R001/V200R002/V200R003 software on the S8016 switch from 30th June, 2009. After this date, service calls for this version will be regretfully declined. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience caused. 

Service issues that are being dealt with will continue to be processed until being resolved. FAQs and solutions to known problems will be available for browsing and downloading for another year from the discontinuation date. 

Huawei officially advises you that Huawei will End of Full Service and support (EOFS) for V300R002 software on the S8016 product from 30th Sep,2009, V200R005(VRP3.10-53XX) software on the S8016 product from 31th Dec, 2009. After EOFS day, patch and software fixing to these versions is no longer supplied. From EOFS to EOS, we are continue to analyze, diagnose related problem, but we will not supply patch or new software version based on these old R level versions, defect will be solved by upgrading to the latest software version or substituting to CX600 routers.

Services to be ended are:

Huawei would like to advise that you upgrade to the new version or adopt the new product model to continue to enjoy Huawei's high quality services. 

The version and product model recommended are V100R002, the CX600, NE40E,NE80E routers respectively.
