On November 5, 2009, Huawei inaugurated its global core partner convention (CPC) at its campus in Bantian. As many as 200 distinguished guests holding senior management positions and representing 75 global core partners, including Qualcomm, TI, IBM, Samsung, Intel, and Foxconn, participated in the convention. In his address, Hong Tianfeng, Director of Group Procurement Management Committee, and president of Huawei Operation and Delivery, emphasized on the need to focus on mainstream suppliers, strong cooperation across the value chain, and new ideas in the way Huawei works with its partners. He hoped that its partners can join hands with Huawei, sincerely cooperate, and be open and innovative to work with Huawei to create value and reduce TCO.

On May 20, 2009, the first Partner Conference of Huawei Poland Subsidiary (hereinafter referred to as Huawei) was held in Radisson hotel of Warsaw, capital city of Poland. Forty six people participated in the conference including senior executives from 14 European and Polish mainstream partners and top executives from Huawei Northeast Europe Sub-region and Poland Subsidiary.

On April 27, 2009, the second session of the Partner Conference of Huawei Romania Subsidiary (hereinafter referred to as Huawei) was held in JW MARRIOT hotel of Bucharest, capital city of Romania. Senior executives from multiple Romanian and multi-national mainstream partners and top executives from Huawei Northeast Europe Sub-region and Romania Subsidiary participated in the conference.
