Quidway ME60 MSCG Wins InfoVision Award 2006

[10 October 2006] Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. ("Huawei"), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, has announced that the Huawei Quidway ME60 Multi-Service Control Gateway (MSCG) has won the 2006 InfoVision Award in honor of its innovative contribution to the telecommunications industry. The InfoVision Award was presented by International Engineering Consortium ('IEC') at the Broadband World Forum Europe ('BBWF'), which is taking place in Paris, France, from 9-12 October 2006.

Huawei's technical excellence was recognized by InfoVision in the "Network Core Innovation and Advances" category for its product the Quidway ME60 MSCG. The Quidway ME60 MSCG is a next-generation multi-service edge solution designed to meet the challenge in the transformation toward a customer centric all IP architecture network for multi-play applications. It is the first 10-Gigabit multi-service control product, which enables large capacity, high performance, strong service integration, flexible service intelligent processing and control as well as broadband access capability. It supports rich services, including terminal access authentication, service identification and classification, safety protection, session agent, hierarchical QoS scheduling, service distinguishment and VPN services. It is an ideal network platform. It can also been deployed as a future proof platform for broadband service providers who plan to expand their service portfolio into multiple play era.
