[Shenzhen, CHINA -- 15 June 2006] Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. ("Huawei"), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, today announced that it has successfully switched 18 million existing Color Ring Back Tone (CRBT) subscribers of China Mobile (Guangdong) to Huawei's TELLIN-CRBT system. The cutover and migration to Huawei's system on May 28, 2006 were smoothly implemented without any complaints from users.

The Huawei TELLIN-CRBT solution provides attractive and diverse functions including music box, music package, music channel, RBT present, subscription present, RBT copy, CP IVR, RBT DIY, and group RBT. In addition,Huawei TELLIN-CRBT platform can be upgraded from 2G to 3G, and can achieve effective management of SPs, helping the operators further promote the development of CRBT services.

Huawei's TELLIN-CRBT system was also successfully launched by Yemen Mobile. The number of its new CRBT subscribers almost reached 50,000 within a short space of 10 days, approaching the total capacity of phase I of the project.

By the end of May 2006, Huawei TELLIN-CRBT system has been deployed for 40 operators in 30 countries worldwide, with a total global capacity of 150 million.
