All the components of the ViewPoint 8000 Videoconferencing System are designed to be used over the IP infrastructure. They range from video bridge and video terminal to the management software package and are detailed as follows:

• Functioning as video bridge over IP, the technology of the ViewPoint 8630 is based on H.323 and its features include audiovisual stream switching and conference control ability. The customer base could be from 6 to 96 depending on the requirement of the customer.
  
• Functioning as management software package, the ViewPoint SMC&GK has many powerful conference management features such as video bridge management, conference management, and IP node management.
  
• The ViewPoint 8060 and the ViewPoint 8030mBox are group video terminals with many attractive and easy to use features, such as friendly GUI, remote controller, and patented SiteCall.
  
• The ViewPoint OpenEye is a pure software codec working over PC or Laptop for individuals.
  
• The ViewPoint DCS is the data collaboration center in the system. It brings T.120 based features to the audiovisual conferencing, such as application sharing, file transferring and text chat.
