The challenge facing the people in Bangladesh was that of connectivity. The odds facing them were disruptive electricity, acute climatic conditions and distance. Grameenphone realized its role as a leader, to connect the people, to help communicate the ideas, wishes, desires and voices of the nation. It committed itself in developing the country, empowering the people, and hence the birth of the vision of “Greener Network”.
