Introduction

The Swedish representative office was established in Autumn 2003 in addition to its Swedish R&D organization: Huawei Technologies Sweden AB, which was set up in early 2001.

The office is well situated in Kista Science City, the Swedish "Wireless Valley".

The office has an excelllent infrastructure due to the cohabitation with R&D: Manned reception and switch board, extensive LAN, laboratory space is available for technical support etc. There is also support available from R&D specialists on radio network technology and designs.

Customers

Huawei Sweden has signed frame agreements with both Banverket and Tele2 and is in the process of establishing cooperation with major third-party suppliers on deployment and after-sales services.

The office also takes advantage, as needed for current projects, of the abundancy of both commercial and technical competence among local contractors such as Northstream, SAAB contracting, Flextronics and Swedia.
