Introduction

Huawei first entered the German market in 2001, and is based in Eschborn, Frankfurt. In 2004 Huawei opened additional offices in Munich, Cologne and Duesseldorf. More than half of our employees are locals.

Due to the positive response from the market, Huawei will further expand its operations in Germany in the coming years and aims to attract more local experts to work at Huawei in Germany.

Training

To meet local training requirements, Huawei has developed partnerships with local companies which are supported by the European training facilities based in the UK.

To service the German market, Huawei operates a fully-functional, industry leading Technical Assistance Centre (TAC). The TAC is open 24/7, 365 days per year, and is fully supported with trained product specialist engineers with technical escalation to research and development ensuring service promise commitments are met .

Customers

Some of Huawei's German customers include Arcor, QSC, IZB, Versatel and in 2005 Huawei signed a LOI with Arcor to provide NG-SDH infrastructure.
