Security Notice - Statement on Newsmth.net Forum Revealing Security Issue in Huawei P9 Smart Phone

Huawei was notified about information that the “find my phone” function could be bypassed on P9 smart phone released by security researcher with user ID cauozs in newsmth.net forum on November 28th, 2016. Huawei immediately launched a thorough investigation and communicated with user cauozs.
Huawei has finished investigation and analysis, confirmed that some Huawei smart phone are affected by the vulnerability. Huawei has delivered Security Advisory. The link of the security advisory is:
