Security Notice - Statement on Password Disclosure/Change Vulnerability in Huawei Home Gateway Products

Huawei noticed that on June 29, 2015, security researcher Fady Mohamed Osman disclosed security vulnerability regarding Huawei HG520b and HG530 on Packet Storm Website. Huawei immediately launched an investigation.
Huawei has finished investigation and analysis and confirmed that the products mentioned in the report have reached End of Service (EOS), Huawei has established a lifecycle management system and clarifies the product lifecycle strategy and product termination strategy, implementing lifecycle management in accordance with industry practices. Huawei suggested that users replace old Huawei routers with those of later products.
