The First Session of the Huawei Centra Asian Innovation Day will be held on 14th November in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan. This event is one of the flagship events carried out by Huawei worldwide, which primary purpose is how to boost the digital transformation of all industries and create a better Digital Silk Road with a spirit of exploration and innovation by means of the close Cooperation of Industry& Education and Research with Government.
The theme of this event shall be “Explore the Way to Digital Silk Road”. More than 150 representatives of the industry elite, public figures, delegates of various public authorities, analysts, scientists and mass-media from 11 countries have been invited to participate in the event. It will be conducted in the formats as follows: keynote speech, sub-panel discussions, exhibition and a number of other actions to set up an open platform for communication of the participants, advanced study of the close connection between the Information & Communications Technologies and national economic development, digital transformation industrialization trends, industrial innovations and successful projects.
At present all walks of life actively take part in digital transformation. Acceleration in the digital industrial development entails upgrading of financial, transportation and manufacturing sectors, public projects and other sectors, changing the pattern of our life and production as well. New technologies such as cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and Internet in general being based on the Information and Communication Technologies have played an important role in the countries’ economic growth, and particularly for the sector digital transformation, which significance becomes increasingly notable.
According to the “Research Report on Global Connectivity Index (GCI) for 2017” issued by the Huawei Company, the global digital economy progress has been accelerating , and the total GCI score has increased by 4 points when compared to 2015 year’s value. This shows that the Information and Communication Technologies become an important engine of economic growth. Every 1 USD invested in the Information and Communication Technologies turns in 3 USD to the country’s GDP, and every 1 USD invested in the Information and Communication Technologies will turn in 5 USD to the country’s GDP by 2025.
In the course of the digital transformation not a single company can be a “loner”, it is essential to take part in a new eco-digital transformation to achieve collective success. On the Central Asia Innovation Day, the Huawei Company will mobilize innovations in researches conducted by the government and private sectors, the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation will be discussed, discussed how it can be possible to create major industrial projects, how to speed up the industrial ecosphere formation. Concurrently, the policymakers of Kazakhstani energy, transportation, financial and telecommunication sectors as well as smart cities etc. will be invited to the meeting, who will participate in the sessions, share their experience and progress in the field of digital transformation and business innovations, demonstrating their achievements in building of the “Digital Kazakhstan”.
Talent is a key point of studying of the future smart society’s uncertainty. Huawei stands for the “Blowing up the Talent Golden Pyramid and Sharing Energy with the World” by way of close cooperation between public and private sectors, providing the talents with an opportunity to generate a greater worth, effectuation of transformation to a new value. In future Huawei will build the partnership relationship with the universities and research organizations throughout Central Asian region in order to ensure a smart support in upgrading the platform and digital transformation in the region.
Along with that, it will be the first time for Huawei to launch the “Seeds for the Future” Program introduced worldwide in Kazakhstan the next year, thereby sowing the seeds of the Information and Communications Technologies’ industry development. The project will provide even wider platform for the university students to assist them to enhance their professional skills , open a global view encouraging them for research and creation of an engine for the future smart society.
