This year’s TM Forum Live! was another lively event as industry experts from across the globe gathered, in Nice to share their expertise, and highlight best practice, linked to the event theme of “Driving the Roadmap to Digital Success” .

    Summary of Pierre Muller

    Pierre Muller is the OSS Vice President of Orange Group since 2013. He is responsible for OSS group recommendation and Operation Processes definition.

    Pierre Muller, 57 years old, a graduate of X-Télécom, joined the Group in 1986 to work for PSTN switch Operation. He then worked in a number of positions in France, mostly within Operation and QoS domain.

    He is now implied in several projects concerning the new operating model for hybrid network and the introduction of orchestration layers in network management domain.

    Thierry Souche joined the Orange Group in 1994. With his considerable international experience, he helped Orange establish the brand in the Netherlands, in the United Kingdom and in Romania as Chief Technical Officer. 

    In July 2011, Thierry Souche was in charge of the Orange Platform Services, then, in 2012, the Orange Labs Products & Services, a technology organization, located in 10 countries over 3 continents, carrying Research, Anticipation and in-field Deployment projects of services. 

    Involved in the digital transformations to deliver cutting edge solutions for the retail and business customers, Thierry Souche is currently the Orange Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Orange Labs Services.

    Summary of Dr. Lester Thomas

    Dr Lester Thomas is the Chief Systems Architect for Vodafone Group Plc and also holds the title of Vodafone Distinguished Engineer.  He is responsible for Vodafone’s BSS and OSS Systems Architecture and Strategy. Lester has been with Vodafone for 12 Years, transforming their architecture practice, implementing a world-class Service-Oriented Architecture and simplifying their architecture through system rationalization and decommissioning.

    Prior to Vodafone, Lester was Chief Technology Officer at an internet start-up and also spent 4 Years working for Andersen Consulting. Lester has a PhD in Digital Information Theory from the University of Wales and held a post-Doctorate research position at the University of Cambridge.

    Summary of Chris Donley

    Chris Donley is providing open source leadership in several Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network function Virtualization (NfV) initiatives, including Open-O, ONAP and OPNFV. He previously served as Director, Virtualization and Network Evolution at CableLabs.

    Chris has been involved in many standards and open source organizations. He currently serves as TSC Chair for Open-O, Certification and Compliance Chair for OPNFV, and TSC member for ONAP. He previously served on the OPNFV Board of Directors and Open Daylight Advisory Council. He also chaired the OPNFV Strategic Planning Committee and served as MEF Certification Committee Co-Chair. Chris holds Cisco CCIE and (ISC)2 CISSP certifications, and has been granted 15 US patents.

    Tom Archer has been working with Huawei as a Solution Architect since 2013. He is currently involved in the Huawei Joint Innovation program with Orange, defining the architecture of the next generation OSS. More recently, Tom played a leading role for Huawei in the 3 times Award winning TMF Catalyst “Model Driven Service Orchestration via an FMO Architecture”. Tom has over 25 years experience in networking environments, previously working for Siemens and other vendors where he was responsible for OSS Inventory architecture and product management, for CSPs in Australia, USA and SE Asia.

He has more than 20 years of experience of helping Telecoms Service Providers and Enterprises to Assure their IT Services and Operations. David has a wealth of experience in Service Assurance from working in a Network Operations Centre, to Consulting, and Designing and Deploying solutions for operators worldwide. With Centina Systems, he is helping to expand the company’s global presence in the EMEA region. Centina systems has been recognized by leading analyst firms such as Gartner and Frost & Sullivan. The company was also ranked by Deloitte as one of the fastest growing companies in America and has achieved 314% growth from 2009 through 2013. These accolades are a validation of Centina’s enterprising spirit and its commitment to its core values.

    Prior to Centina Systems, David had senior roles at Innovise ESM, Harbrook Consultants and ICL/Fujitsu. He received his Batchelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Systems and IT Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom.
