[Mae Hong Son, Thailand, 11 July 2008] Represented by Managing Director, Mr Richard Zhang – Huawei joined a special community project in the Mae Hong Sorn province, Northern Thailand. The community project, known as "Wireless Reach" project, is a concerto effort between Huawei, Qualcomm, CAT Telecom and the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) to provide advanced 3G and high speed broadband service to meet rural medical needs in Northern Thailand. In the project, 49 sets of notebook computers, printers and adaptors, CDMA-based EV-DO data cards, C5320 mobile phones, service for the data cards and SIM cards, including one-year of support for voice and unlimited data usage were donated to 49 operational public health stations within Princess Mother' s Medical Volunteer Foundation (PMMV)' s network.
