The CSOFTX3000 (Huawei CDMA2000 Softswitch) is the MSCe entity on phase LMSD defined by 3GPP2. It separates the control from the bearer and realizes the following functions: call control, MGW access control, resource allocation, protocol handling, routing, certification and billing. It provides the subscribers with basic voice services, mobile services and intelligent value-added services. Due to its built-in functions of VLR and SSP, the softswitch fully meet the networking requirements of circuit switching core network.
